A cold morning, but at least no snow.
Not looking forward to a work week...have enjoyed the quiet two days off.

Physical therapy this afternoon. My second (and last) visit. Might as well do the exercises at home and avoid the co-pay expense. Actually, the rotator cuff pain is under control (keeping fingers X'd)

Good morn all!

Cold here as well, guys. Hands hurt, as usual, but that might be the marathon crocheting session yesterday. No school for the next few days here--teacher work-day today, and election day tomorrow. I set up the interview for the non-profit for Wednesday. It's a monster drive down, and so scheduled the drive for post rush hour, and then pre-rush coming back. Got another email from the Fed Dept. of Ed saying I qualified well for a position I applied for. So, it seems I am finally targeting the proper market.

Today is apps, some research on the job, a load of laundry, light cleaning, etc. I also want to finish pulling out the flowerbeds for fall.

Glad to hear from you Michelle--rah on the college classes for fall! What time frame? 5 pm or a 7?

Dixie-Enjoy the results of the project. Treat yourself nicely during the PMS.

Nice to meet you, Joyce. I agree, therapy on your own dime is far better. I did aqua therapy years ago, and keep it going on for years but had to stop recently. Ran out of money.

Jamie!! I see no ogres today, but there was one hiding here yesterday I think I managed.

I don't feel good this week. Saturday's the memorial service for dad. 4 more days... For some reason, I'm starting to feel anxious and down and angry and emotional and all how... This is not good! I beginning to not sleep again.
Trying to keep occupied with work but not helping.

Hey Everybody...

I have to tell myself (me) every day...sometimes several times a day...

           Be mindful not to meditate so much on what I've lost

                that I fail to celebrate what I have.

That applies to health, people, places, pets, and often just "things" in general.

All of us here are going through our own stuff, it seems, most involving LOSS...in varying degrees.  It helps to know we're not alone.  We can reach through cyberspace and wrap our arms around each other.

I know y'all are missing the corny Halloween jokes, aren't cha?  Well, don't despair...It's turkey time!

  What do you get when you cross a turkey with a banjo?  A turkey that can pluck himself! 

Not sure why that cracks me up...more to come!!!

What an awesome day Tuesday was. Thank god. I have been so stressed out about the bills and one of my bills was really making me a wreck. Well come to find out I have a credit on it so that bill is paid in full! I cried when the guy told me that! Yay! Fell asleep early so now I am up and down again. Pooo! Stay strong my friends..

Welcome 'hump' day...(you know what that is)?

Nice visit yesterday with granddaughter. They grow up so fast.

TV commercials for the mid term elections are finally over.
I didn't vote, though. Did anyone else?

Got a call from fire insurance company. They'll be coming Friday to inspect the business property. Not the best time of year for us...a lot of 'clean up' will be needed in the next two days.

Michele, I kept getting jury summons and I finally wrote a letter to the judge and got excused for life. I can't sit through it either. Sitting makes me ache.
