Can SSRIs help with health related depression/anxiety?

This condition has given me depression and increased anxiety. Will an SSRI help the way I feel, even if the pain/flushing persists? I feel like I cannot be happy again if this condition does not go away.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? I am not familiar with lyrica, so I don't know about the flushing. I don't know if the ssri will take that away or not. Talk to your doc and see what they have to say.

I think an antidepressant can help the way you feel, but do talk to the doc about it. I am sorry that this happened...
