Welcome!!
First thing. Personally, I think that we (as in our society) think that a diagnosis is automatic, speedy, and immediate, like it is on TV and in the movies. We are all guilty of this. If the 'doctors' in the melodramas can get it done, then our local doc should be able to. In reality, nothing happens that quickly. A diagnosis takes time, observation, tests, and whatever else.
Also, we tend to frame a diagnosis in a dramatic way when it is really just business as usual, again thanks to our media culture. By this I mean that it is either/or, and never in between. A terrible illness that doctors fight valiantly and the patient either recovers or not, AND an illness the doctor misses with the resultant issues for the patient.
Let the melodrama stay on the big screen or the tv screen.
Secondly, your worry serves to no good purpose. You know this. When you can control the outcome, feel free to worry. When you cannot, don't send the good karmic energy after bad.
Be well, friend. Breathe and be.
