Oh,Michelle. I did. I am headed to a middle school tomorrow. I am frightened of the 6th grader's last day. Just drive safe.

BTW, I saw a girl today that made me sad. Denim short-shorts, jeweled flip-flops, and a crapped t-shirt with Bambi on the front. Gak.

Hello all. Been having a rough couple of days. Blame the rain. Blame the bee sting. Still have a lump. Been walking on the side of my foot, now the side of my foot hurts! Several years ago, I had been stung on the side of my big toe, didn't get the stinger out, toe swelled and turned brown, had to go to the ER, was told I am to consider myself allergic now. Not "anaphalactic" allergic, but will have this drawn out reaction from now on. Geez.

Still, did 2 loads of wash since it was sunny and could use the clothesline. Hobbled back and forth to the laundry room. Dead headed the pansies and verbena. Swept the floors, did some dusting. Made some slip covers for the back cushions for the sofa. Used fabric from the old slip cover from the old sofa! Now the whole couch is brown! Yay!

And now, time to soak my foot in Epsom Salts again. Hope everyone has a good 24 hours!

Myself, I know that feeling. Sometimes I see people too and I just get a very sad feeling. It sometimes make me overthink about the world in general.

My ex bf (I remembered to say ex) called me Sunday night. He showed his number and I answered. He just called to see how I was doing and talk, and say he missed me and wondered if I missed him too. I did talk to him, well mostly listened. I felt weak but I kept my motto in my mind. Work was busy from Monday so it distracted me.
Both Friday and Saturday night around midnight I received a called from a private number. I don't answer private calls, but they wouldn't give up, so I answered and they hung up. He confessed it was him.
He also called me last week but he wanted he to check a phone number and account for him.

It's the last work day of the week today for me. Tomorrow is a public holiday. Grocery would be opening so I may go to buy our groceries with my mom and my sister.

Morning everyone!!

UA - please be careful. He physically and emotionally abused you. That isn't acceptable. I wouldn't answer my phone unless I knew the number. Please, please be careful!!

I forgot to take all of my medicine yesterday- I always remember!! Needless to say, the pain was incredible. I'm counting the hours until surgery!!

There's this orange/yellow thing in the sky here! It's the sun! It's been over a week since we have seen it. Of course my pool got all yucky with the rain so I guess today I need to clean it and hopefully tomorrow I can get in it. At least I can get some sun while I clean it!!

I just had some vodka jello. I was making jello this morning and wondered how ti would taste with vodka. I decided to take out some separate and mix some vodka in it and then put it to set. I had it this evening. It didn't take bad at all.

Tornado warning!!

Rain and thunder and lightning, but I think the worst is past.

We had to buy more basil.Ours got hit by a basil disease. The stems twisted and turned brown and all the leaves died. I had to clean out the plant box, throw away the dirt, and wash it out.

Chili in the pressure cooker. Yum.

Vodka jello shooters UA, We made them in college. Anyone remember the vodka watermelon? Cut a small cube out of the top for a plug,and then pour in a bottle of vodka. Very dangerous. Theatre kids can party, and it never starts until after rehearsal! The rest if the campus was partied out by the time we got going.

my neck and head is doing the frozen dry ice numb thing. always need to tilt back. it is awful. muscles in shoulders are rocks, have been for years. it hurts. makes feel yuck, like head is aquashing on neck. have doc appt next week. asked chronic pain forum for any suggestions. i will go the hospital if need be. getting of the computer. it is not helping. have raised keyboard. thinking about using a neck pillow? ttyl.

ugggh HT I had that problem last year. After a MRI it was said I had stenosis. No pain meds or muscle relaxers took it away. My RD suggested wearing a "whiplash collar"
That helped me keep my head upright when I felt I couldn't hold it up anymore for the pain. Then I couldn't take it anymore.
Ended up getting 2 steroid shots in my neck to "put out the fire" per the spine specialist. It worked almost instantly- what a relief!
Hope you find your cure.

With the clouds guess I will work on college work today. Next weekend, I have plans so I guess I'll get ahead.

Good Morning/afternoon/evening Everyone!! Happy Father's day to any dads that read the check in!!

I haven't checked in here for awhile, been pretty busy lately with therapies, driving my son around, and moderating the anxiety forum. :)

My son is taking me to the beach today, I haven't been to the beach in over 4 years if not over 5 years, lol. The said thing is I only live less then 1 1/2 hours away from the pacific yet I never go. He is taking me to the casino, and we will walk on the beach then out to eat for dinner, I'm pretty excited. The best part is he is paying for everything!! I have such wonderful boys, I love them to death.
