Effexor causing rapid heart rate

Effexor causing rapid heart rate - normal BP

I take 150 meg venlafaxine and 50g lamotrogine and have a heart rate do 112 bpm. My blood pressure is normal. Is anyone else experiencing this problem and what can be done about it?

How long have you been taking these medications? When did the rapid heartbeat start?
If you haven't been taking it long, it could be a side effect that could subside. Have you talked to the prescribing doctor about this?
