How to fix this trouble..my forgetfulness and depression is getting out of hand .. shakehead

I do need your help and ideas.

Nothing seems to help.My family also very weird in many regards and tired of my depression.

Doc wants me to eat Pristiq or lyrica as Fibro is becoming more flare .

I am stuck and can't move ahead ... sad shocked cry confused

I take prisiq, it works well for depression. I think it helps with pain from fibro too, not sure. I never went off to find out. I hope you feel better soon Cilly.

Forgetfulness? Check your anxiety meds. From experience I found out the hard way that mine was causing my memory to get to the point that I even had a test done to see where I was as Alzheimer's is in our family. After some digging into the timeline of the changes I was able to narrow it down to when I started using the Anxiety meds more.
I am no longer taking them and the memory is much much better. Explore side effects and talk to your doctor.

Cilly try the need meds see if they help, stay in touch with the doc on how you are feeling.

Use your coping skills to help the forgetfulness.

I take anxiety meds only as needed .My both parents have Alzheimer's .Esp dad,s side of genetics .
Same applies to anxiety and depression .

Can this stuff be genetic rather than what life throws at us ,I wonder sometimes.
2 other siblings have them too.They are on medications as well but I do not talk much to them.

As my family is dysfunctional in every regard but love me a lots as they claim.

I might to move in with them as staying with a thief is emotionally hard for me .
Once I confront ppl ,I get scared about revenge .As most ppl are filled with vengeance ......she is caught so she is in defensive mode .
I cannot stay quiet once I know truth. eyes

Before moving in with your family I suggest a pros and cons list.

Your comment "as they claim" hits hard at home for me.

Are you family relationship toxic and will they make your symptoms worse? Can you leave on your own. Get on a list for low income housing?

See if a friend, aquaintance wants to move in with you.

Look for other options if you can.

Roommates is not my idea of living but for financial reasons I have to .
I want to be able to live alone and stress free ,roommates are headaches as I am staying with a friend ,can't bear to hear her whining all time ...
My family can visit whenever they want but I won't have extra room for them.
I am enrolled in low income housing ...but it's complicated and waiting time is longer.
I am planning on moving closer to my sis or with her but need a job or secure a study once my anxiety ,depression is less.
I cannot concentrate on anything yet.
I might enroll in nursing or study for LSAT exam to be a lawyer .
I am not yet made up my mind .
It's stressful time.
