I have a book I would like to recommend. I can not give you a link because it will have a price and the rules don't allow suggestions of purchase/selling.
However, you may be able to get it at the library, on kindle for free or
half.com for just a few dollars.
The title is 'No Mud, No Lotus' by Thich Nhat Hanh 124 pgs
I had to read it 4 [four] times, yes 4. before it all sank in, and I still use it weekly for reference when I feel down.
I was looking for answers on why people had to suffer for NO obvious reason. What did I do to deserve this crap. Why did my family start abusing me at 3yrs old, what could I have possibly down for my mother to beat me?
At first I thought this book sounded to black and white, but I stuck with it and read to the end. Pondered it, in a few days, picked it up again, each time I read it a door of understanding was
opened.
It takes time to let go of the resentment we feel for chronic illness and the loss for the childhood we never had and other people did. This book I hope will help you, as it IS helping me. It is a walk, not a race.
Peace
Trina
