This is a good day - hot, but I like the heat. I do miss having a therapist to check in with -- I had a great one before I moved. I kind of don't feel I have the energy to start looking. Any suggestions of how to start would be appreciated.

this is my third attempt to post here...just too fast I guess. I am okay and enjoyed a visit from my neighbor.

Hi all, hope everyone is well.

So I confronted my dad yesterday and asked what he meant by I can't afford to be in therapy for years, did he think I wasn't strong enough to get through this if it took years? Well turns out I completely misunderstood and he meant it literally, that it was expensive and he was worried I wouldn't have the money, but he said you just take all the time you need to get better.

Hey kids-- Just finished reading 8 hours of essays. Didn't sleep well last night--the incoming storm made my my muscles "a jingle-jangle" (from the republican Northern Irish song The Auld Triangle.)

I know exactly what you mean, F27. Karen-hope you got some nice flowers! The ones I planted from seed are finally blooming. Jamie--good headphones are a beautiful thing. i always buy cheap and they fall to pieces.

I thought of you yesterday, Ms. Joyce. A bear in Leesburg VA tried to go through the drive-thru of an Arby's.

Hope-do some research. Get the names and phone numbers of PCPs. It is a good place to start. We eat a lot of summer squash. The butternuts I will cure--soup, stews, roasted. All of it. Since we don't eat potatoes much, it's a starchy taste.

good with shrink. he is going to look into why I was denied a needed procedure without even being looked at, he looked on the screen and seems to think it was not even looked at, only administratively. I found the reject letter, will go in Monday. he is looking at a paid role for me, he has been given a grant to recruit some consumers to work as peers helping patients in the acute unit. it will be a pilot type program, and he wants the peers to be fully supported. he wants me to talk about my ECT treatments to the med students. increased the escitroprolam by 10mg. a very nice chat indeed. this bloke gives a stuff, and is a forward thinker. so lots of walking today.

Hope everyone has something positive happen to them today.
The weather is beautiful here today; summer and warm , with a
gentle breeze. I plan to get out and do something today ( not sure what though ).

Also ,I had a strange message on my phone this a m. My estranged father called...So I will call him back , plus wish him a happy Fathers day too.
