It is nice here today too. Sunshine and blue skies. Gentle breeze. Love it. I hope to get out and enjoy the weather today.

Sunny and hot here today. Taking it kind of easy because I woke up with a migraine. The medicine I took is working pretty well -- will probably go out in a bit.

The rainy season stated here in the beginning of June. So we may be having more rain than sun. Today was rainy with some sun in between.

PS Went to the green house place the other day and got two black eyed Susan's, Two red coneflowers, a columbine, an Alaska Shasta Daisy and a clematis. Transplanted them into bigger pots and will plant them in the ground in the fall. Only because I don't have any where to put them until other garden plants are removed for the winter. Tomatoes and watermelons. I hope to have good color next year.

Gorgeous weekend here. Did two long bike rides--around 35 miles for the weekend! Paid for it last night though. Went to a free concert last night--a good jazz band.

Having some bad IBD issues recently--serious constipation and the resultant pain. Blah.

I am getting some flowers on the way back from my psych appt. today.

I have 2 hanging baskets and a large pot out front. Then there is the patio out back. Hoping the flats are reasonable.

okay here, gastrointestinal problem is gone...just find myself to be super tired after I fell on April 13...really bad...my leg is still puffy and if I touch my face...it still hurts.

cancer thing on foot is looking better. No more yellow scabs which is an improvement.

Got some videos at the library yesterday and went for a swim. Wish I could accomplish more but I think of the quote...

Hi everybody! I've been crazy busy here. Bought the new shed, tore down the old one, discovered a family of skunks living under it, 'evicted them', put up the new shed, discovered the skunks moved right back in! What a weekend!

Went back to the home improvement store to get 'Critter Rid' to humanely get the skunks to want to move elsewhere. Stopped by the plant clearance rack (silly me) and wound up spending another $60!

welcome to the group!!! I like em, not good at keepin' em and stuff. no green thumb. I got involved with my neighbours garden when she was here. urologist agreed in me halving the diuretic. she said if ya start huff n puffin' a lot to go back up, she said you know your body. also she got the letter I had just a day earlier from plastics, (that was sent in april to me) who refused a much needed simple procedure., by mail, signed outpatients, well turtle gave it straight, and she agreed and she will make some calls, I said I have referred the matter to a hospital director. an admin shafting it was, without a plastics consult, bad form from my hospital. windy cold, nice mental health day I reckon.

I do right!!!!
been nominated for jury duty. done the on-line application. have a uni gig in august, they want people avail from the 15th august through to late oct. I just covered my self and said I am unavailable possibly between the 15th to 31st. tbc. so if I am wanted I will go for selection, if they want ya you do ya duty. 7-10 days it was suggested, if nominated. I reckon a good educative thing. it's raining here and cold, wind has settled, thus the net is up. thx char for coming down to heart forum.

Sorry not to post some fun trivia...but I've been trying to quit smoking. It's now my sixth day...and I'm having a tough time!!!!!!!

Oh Joyce, I know it is hard. I am constantly trying to cut back and smoke less. The less I try to smoke the more I want to smoke. But I still count them everyday to keep track of where I am at. It is a battle, but I know you can do it. You have six days under your belt. That is awesome.

UA... We got two trays of strawberries today. Not the best though, we tried a new place but are going back to the regular one as soon as they will let you pick.

Andy, can you call the place and ask again just incase they forgot you? I am a worry wort so I think of things like that. I bug people like that when I think that they forgot me. I got to make an appointment with my family doctor soon for a semi annual appointment. I hate going. I need a lot of refills on medications though.

Jamie my friend. I hope you are getting good sleep right now. I hope that the weather is nice.
