Depression can be very scary. But know it will be better. It just takes time. Do you have any self help books on depression? They come in handy. Try to take things one day at a time. Since you are taking some time off of work, try to do something nice for yourself. Something simple. Pamper yourself during this time.
Hang in there, it will get better.
