Hi Kirsten,
Sounds more like dysthemia to me, which is like depression, but more of a slow burn. Depressive flares are typically associated with very negative emotions.
When's the last time you 'felt' something?

Kirsten,
Have you talked to anyone about
this?
If you go to school, you can talk to the Nurse, or the Wellness Center?
If your work, do you have benefits. Sometimes the benefits have a free call line for help.
If not look on our Resource Thread at top right of forum. There are many links to call numbers and sites for you to find help.
You are not alone.
Peace
Trina

Emotionally numb is sign of depression,I have been there for a very long time.
It's takes out everything you should feel in this life but after you recover you might feel overally emotional.
Emotionally repressive personas suffer from it I guess.
Take care.
