Yes, I have heard of that Allopurinol. The only thing is that I have had a lot of trauma to my feet. They found cancer in one foot and also had worts on the other foot. This last was taken care of by liquid nitrogen.

Well docs just don't understand...they think if these traumas did not happen ten minutes ago...it can't have any effect.

Frankly, it has been a horrible year last year and this year does not look a lot better...so far so bad.

Because I did so little yesterday ... have lots to do now.

Is it permitted to ask about specific antidepressants on this site?

I will be seeing my PCP doctor Monday for a Rx and would like to know the opinion of people who have used these medications....and perhaps I will have a better idea for what I should request

escitroprolam, mdd and anxiety treatment. and small dose of mirtazapine nocte. otherwise known as californian rocket-fuel, so my shrink tells me!!!

That thread of mine has gone unanswered in several days. Don't you all want to know how court was?

It was better than I expected. The sheriff knows I need support, and hopefully after I change my social worker, the rest will follow.

However, the help will likely have to come from Autism Initiatives again, since there's no-one else. So what are your thoughts on that then? Keep in mind, I'll just have male support workers from now, or at a push, perhaps older women too. Although it's probably just gonna be guys.

Well, I actually made a thread about it at other forums a few days ago, where the activity is about as dead as the dinosaurs. I guess the moral of that story is, you should observe how busy the site is before you start spewing.

Anyway, I made a few threads on here about it already. I don't know if they're worth reading again. I've got a busy week ahead of me, though. Today (or tomorrow, depending on where you are), I have to look for a nice leather jacket. It doesn't have to be made of real leather. The cheaper brands will do. This is for some extras work on Wednesday evening. smilewinkgrin

My big deal is that I watered my plants! Finding it hard to finish off chores. BORED SICK plus my hand hurts right now... so will stop typing.

Hand okay now...some kind of a cramp. Am reading books in between chores. Paper work is coming along and washed all my floors today and have to dust next. Made out checks too! Must balance bank account...ugh.

Tomorrow see foot doc again about gout-like problem and need to do some chores in that geographical area. Keeping on keeping on
and all that jazz.

Truck is going back into the shop...leaking brake fluid again. Ugh.

PAGrandma...I've used Paxil after the death of my mother, was a huge help.

The grape hyacinths I potted have flower buds!

Working on remembering to focus my breathing and not grinding what's left of my teeth.

Hi Joyce, Just wanted to mention that if you have side effects (that sometimes go away) there are always others to try. Six to eight weeks to reach full potential with most antidepressants. I hope that the Prozac works well for you.

Woke up about 3:30, started worrying, and couldn't get back to sleep. Relationship worries, money worries, the usual roster of middle of the night anxiety. The period of January is always lean--since the break around December means that there is no money coming in. One of the problems that comes with the education territory, I guess. I just hope I can buy beer for the Super Bowl!

Today some tutoring,the gym, and a late night interview are on the agenda. AND some sleep. The interview is for on-line teaching in China.

There is nothing we as an individual can do with some of this, the best thing to do is to try to take things one day at a time. Stay in the moment. Forget about the politics and the worries for the moment. They will always be there.

Myself, you use to be real good at staying in the moment. I know that things are difficult right now, but is there anything you could do to get you back to that mindset? Is there anything you can think of that would help you to not worry? I will try to think of some things. I hate to see you so upset.

Hang in there friend. We are all here for you.

First day of a new month and we know what that means...

Tonight, instead of white lights there will be red and pink ones lighting the front arch. I've taken down the white lighted ball and put up a pink and red heart instead. The window gels have all been redone. No more snowflakes and snowmen...now it's all hearts and Xs and Os!

The grape hyacinths are up, the foliage is about 8 inches tall and there are 5 or 6 flower buds following! All of the tulips and standard hyacinths have broken ground in their respective pots, too!

Laundry is getting done as I write this. I went shopping for pantry organizers today and didn't find what I wanted. For a change of pace, I came home empty handed, rather than just spending money on stupid stuff that I really don't want or need. This is a refreshing change for me!

Tomorrow I'll go with my daughter for her follow up appointment with the surgeon. She's really looking forward to having the dressing changed. Itching like crazy and uncomfortable from being 'stuck' in one position for a week.

Hope everyone is having a reasonably good day.
