Hello All. Brief question for all of you as I am getting ready for work. I just started a new, second job and it is teaching ESL online to students in China. Because of the time difference I should be getting to bed by 9:00-9:30 every evening to get up early to work each morning. However, this is proving impossible as my 18 year old daughter has been going out every night and I am staying up to 11 - 11:30 waiting up for her. I take Trazodone each night to help me sleep throughout the night and I haven't been taking it until she gets in. I want to make sure I am awake enough and able to drive if I have to.
I am now exhausted at both jobs and it is also causing my depression and anxiety to flare as well. I didn't want to give my daughter an early curfew on her summer vacation nights as it did not seem fair to her. However, this is obviously not good for me. Can I have any suggestions on how to handle this? Am I old fashioned in waiting up for her (please note I am a single mom) or should I just lay down a curfew as I have to take care of myself too?
Thanks ahead for any help.
Cass
