Very believable Whoa. My Lyme Dr. just told me to get the Omega 3 for my brain damage from the Lyme.
Because I'm over 50, I've seen such a dramatic increase in diseases (new ones) and depression and anxiety have increased so much, it's incredible.
I got this in a CFS E-Newsletter I get ...
Junk Food Additives Stop Nerve Cell Growth
Mixing the common additives aspartame an artificial sweetener and
monosodium glutamate (MSG) causes nerve cell damage, say researchers at the
University of Liverpool. The results from a two-year study were recently
published in the journal Toxicological Sciences.
The researchers found the additives were much more potent in combination
with each other than on their own. Mice were exposed to concentrations of
MSG and aspartame relative to what a child would receive in an average
snack and drink. Researchers were surprised to see the additives interfered
with nerve signaling systems and actually stopped the nerve cells from growing.
Aspartame is commonly found in diet drinks, candies and flavored medicines,
while MSG is frequently found in chips, processed cheese and many processed
foods. End Quote. http://www.organicconsumers.org/toxic/msg010306.cfm
As far as the question in your first Post.... I personally have not been able to change my diet, YET ... but I do want to someday, because Yes, I have heard from others of their "Improvements".
Truthfully, what you and I have posted as research on what we stick in our mouths, is just the tip of the ice berg for what we could post on that one subject alone.
They've recently announced finding "lead" in many lipsticks.
I heard on the BBC last year, that the "Parabens" (such as methyl and ethyl, etc. etc.) are carcinogens and those are in everything from baby wipes, baby lotion, and hand lotions, etc. etc. and even in some cough drops.
And the "aluminum" is in almost every health and beauty aide and now in pre-prepared foods, desserts, etc.
That's why some very rich folks grow their own organic 'everything' (animals included). Well, they hire folks to. I worked for one. They knew, what I didn't know back then.
Thanks Whoa.
