Mine was different from yours. Mine was my blood pressure would go up whenever I saw a doctor. It isn't bad like it was. Every time I went to my gynecologist I ended up having something wrong. I had two surgeries on my cervix and one on my left breast. I changed doctors and locations. It was okay after that. I was just scared that there would always be something wrong with me. I am facing that again but because of old age. I think. Not female problems but stuff coming up on blood work, diabetes... It makes you not want to go but I learned I have to be responsible and take care of things. No fun though. A part of life I guess.
I did talk in therapy about the blood pressure going up. She just reassured me that I am not the only one. And blood pressure pills didn't agree with me so I started taking atenolol. It isn't like other blood pressure pills. No side effects.. I check it at home too. Now it is under control.
I am not good at the doctor's. I tend to not say anything even if there is something going on. I don't know why. I just don't like talking to them I guess. But I go when I have to.
I don't know if this helped much. But try to do what you need for yourself. You can prevent things from happening to your health. Or catch things early. But I do understand your fears... I hate going. And I still neglect things that I should do. Mammograms and pelvic exams.
