read the meds...i still can't sleep please read

Here is a list of my medications. mostly for Migraines, depression and not sleeping

Topamax 100mg

Verapamil 240mg

Nortriptyline 75mg

Abmien 10mg

Ativan 2mg

Kidney Stones>PRN meds

Torodol 10mg

Dilaudid 2mg

After taking all this I still can't sleep. Didn't fall asleep till 6am. I get upset really easy. I've been crying a lot. I feel like my IQ has droped tons, I can't complete everyday task...I feel like I'm going crazy. Could it be the meds???

Hi AngMichelle,  I am so sorry that your having this many problems, I know it is fustrating.  You are on several differant medications for some serious medical problems.  When you start to add one med on top of another there really is no telling what interactions your going to get or effect the person who is taking them is going to have.  We would like very much to be able to help you in any way possiable, but please know that we are not doctors here and can only really give advice and or suggestions on like experiances.  If it was one of two meds that would be differant as opposed to 7 differant ones.  The best suggestion I can give to you is to speak to your physician regarding this.  I'm sorry I know it isnt much help, but I believe this is the safest way to go about the problem your facing now.  Take care

I agree with Els, you should really try to speak to your Dr about your sleeplessness. I just want to wish you all the very best. :-)
