Going nuts

Sorry to be posting here yet again...
It's just that it's been such a hard year on my physical health. I had a ruptured tendon in my left foot, three eye surgeries (right eye) for a boil that they had a hard time removing. Then an asthmatic attack to a medication (ER) . a Sinus infection and allergy testing. Now my back is hurting and I'm getting an MRI tonight doctor thinks a it's a disk and I can't take any pain medications right now because of the MRI and I hurt. I just want to crwal into a closet and hide for the rest of the year and I don't care... it's all just crazy.. Never had so many medial problems and eye doctor is contpalting a fourth surgery for some scare tissue from last surgery... I feel so guilty and bad. Can't seem to picture a bright side to anything .. wanted to get my daughter a playstation 2 for Christmas but with my medical bill that might be not be possible and it saddens me more... We don't qualify for any assistance. Don't know what to do.... don't want the mri keep thinking of cancelling scared scared not so much of the test but them finding something. Not my year, not my year

Hi Chartreux, I am so, so sorry for all your going through....Physicial problems are the pits and I know it is ten times worse when they just keep compounding upon each other.  Please dont feel guilty for posting here at all about it, this is what we are for to help support you.  You said you wanted to get your daughter a playstation 2 for christmas?  Perhaps instead of buying a new one which can still be expensive I know...how about looking at a store like Slackers or Electronics Boutiquic who usually sell used or refurbished ones?  They check them out to make sure they are in good working order, clean them up and sell them for usually half price.  Just an idea for you...

Do the MRI...If you have back pain and your doc thinks its a disk causing it then you need to know and get it treated if possible.  Hang in there and let us know how it goes.  Hugs

Yes, I made it through what has to almost be my longest weekend yet!!
hurts to walk, hurts to sit and can't sleep on my left side at all and I'm taking tylenol 3.
Feel like a Quarterback after a bad game with lots of hits...
Anyway really hope the pain management clinic will call me tomorrow and can fit me in. just waiting on pins and needles so to speak...
Although if they don't call I don't know how I'll manage, my husband will be out of town on Tuesday and with my luck they'll probably call on Tuesday.

I sure understand your anxiety about Monday's appointments!  FOUR procedures seems like a lot.  Oh, well ... maybe there will be relief at the end of the day; there'll certainly be more information available about your situation.  Grit your teeth and be glad it'll be over in a day.
