Hi Levonne, I do know what you mean but the Lord has not forgotten you.
I am focusing on my health this week. I have appt. to see pain management doctor and NEW psyche doc. I was in the ER for 4 hours on Saturday with extreme pain in neck & shoulders and migraine. The migraine was actually secondary to the neck/shoulders. I had trouble by the end of the first day but Sat. I woke up as if someone had beat me black and blue. My body has betrayed me. At this point, I can't even work, but I have not given up the hope that I can. I do wonder what God's will is though. I know what mine is but the doors keep getting shut or the mind or the body breaks down and hinders my efforts.

You are in a place that causes "anticipatory anxiety." Please try to take one day at a time and turn everything over to God. You and I know that is our only HOPE.

Hi AL and Kelly, Thanks for your support. I don't know what I would do without you guys! I spoke to the nurse yesterday. All she said was that "the doctor has gotten the results and ordered more tests." They will hopefully know something today. In retrospect, I have had them before (numerous in the last month) and did not know what was happening. I always thought when you had a seizure that you had to lose consciousness. This isn't the case. I am a little scared........... Oh...Kelly I live in Indiana and am trying to move back to Georgia. I have got to get closer to my Mom so that when this stuff happens I am not alone. I am trying to act like nothing is going on so that my son won't get upset. I hope your shoulder feels better today. Kelly. It is a tough disease....like depression in a way. I am taking neurontin 300 mgs three times a day. The neurontin has also helped the interstitial cystitis. Bless your heart. I am saying a prayer...... Have they started you on new meds? I have been thinking about you all day....did you get news from your interview? God Bless Levonne

Hi Kelly! I have been taking this med for 10+years and it has helped tremendously. I have found that it also helps with interstitial cystitis. I have had no side effects. This med is given in much higher doses for epilepsy I think. Hope this helps! Levonne

Hi Kelly, The md just called. She has doubled my neurontin.....from 900 mg to 1800mg. My blood for the most part was normal. The siezures are another biochemical quirk... I will feel a lot better when I know the neurontin will control them. I got a call form the hospital in my home town re: a job. She said I was overqualified for the position. I wonder if I will ever get a break from this...that impending sense of doom that no income will give you. I am frantic......3 more weeks of unemployment and I am no closer to selling my house that I was on the day I listed it. I do not know what to do. How are things with you? Hi Kelly, The hospital helped me.......I had stopped functioning. The physicians (psych and internal med.) were great. They know the how devasting depression can be. There was no "it's all in your head." My hospital used the "team approach" for treatment.........everyone, nurses, social workers, people that maintained order (insured that you went to group etc) and physicians participated in your treatment. I was under observation the entire time and all actions/reactions were evaluated...... All that rambling to say, the doctors had a much more accurate view of my case..... also for the first time in my life I let everything come to the surface. I learned that the abuse I suffered as a child was still causing me a multitude of problems. I met a lot of great people and saw many people facing more demons than me. I also realized that I was not alone..........I saw others fighting the same "battle." Sorry to ramble so.........I am still adjusting to the medicine changes. Please let me know if you have more questions......I will be happy to give you my email address. I know that you are in a terrible situation........I feel your pain. You are so right......we have to cling to our faith and pray for the strength to get through the day. Have you had any side effects from the neurontin? Love ya Levonne
