Hi Bookeater,
Welcome to the forum,I am very glad that you found us. And you will see that there are alot of great people on this site that have great advice, and alot of heart.
First of all...take a couple deep breaths. You have nothing to be nervous about
. You are taking one of the most important steps in healing that there is to take.
There is nothing that you can say to your Doctor that they have not heard or will surprise them. Remember that is what they are getting paid for.
Now for the visit.
I know you are scared and it is very nerve wracking..but believe me after you have told them everything and you are walking out of there knowing that you are going to be getting some help (and knowing you aren't as crazy as you thought you were!!) you will feel so much better.
You need to be honest, you need to tell them everything no matter how small it seems to you. One small thing might make the big difference in how your doctor can treat the depression/anxiety and panic attacks.
I found this survey on the net..maybe you can fill it out and then print it,and take it along with you.
It might help to add what is not listed on this and give it to the Doctor.
You are going to be fine, just keep that in mind.
