Look in your local phone book. There should be plenty options. My husband had his first appt. last week. His blood pressure and pulse were so high she almost cancelled his appointment. Instead she had him lay down and relax. Once his numbers were down she did the treatment. He was so relaxed, he went to sleep. I will admit he seems a bit better this week, but I also realize that it could just be the ups and downs of withdrawl. His next appointment is tomorrow. His first therapy session was today. I have been looking into accupressure that I can do at home. This is also very interesting for anxiety, stress, etc. Same idea as accupressure with the meridians and points and so forth. My mom has started smoking again and there is a section in there on addictions. I want her to be my first subject. So far, she is not biting. I am not going to give up! I also have bought some theraputic grade essential oils recommended by Dr. Ann Tracy. She is a PhD and has made it her mission in life to inform folks about
these psych drugs and their effects. I picked a few scents aimed at targeting the emotions and releasing toxins. I can't wait to get them in my husbands hands. We decorated our Christmas tree last night with the kids. It was a great evening - no incedences! Bitter-sweet. All of our 14 years of Christmas memories on 1 tree during such a sad time for us.
I would suggest giving accupunture or accupressure a try! Oh, Dr. Tracy is on myspace if you want to look her up and learn more about her.
Keep me informed!!
