Hello there,
I have a friend who is diabetes. I just found out that he has no insurance and visit a physician on his own expenses every couple of years. Yesterday, he had his eye all so red but said he was with the docotor just few weeks ago. The doctor said he was OK. And asked him to come and see him in another 2 YEARS. I was so surprised. I think he should have a regular insurance, I am trying to investigat this issue for him here since he is not so familiar with the internet.
Is there is any organization that helps to pay for diabetes check ups and treatment. And just out of curiousity, how much it would average for him to his own insurance, the man is above fifty, not retired and lives in IL. He did not live a whole portion of his life in the USA and he won't get a Medicare on the long run.
Please, if anyone know some useful information, do share it with me.
Thanks.
