My name is Martina and i am a Type 2 Diabetic since July 2005 and is on two different meds for my diabetes meds and many other meds too

Welcome and I'm glad you joined. I was diagnosed last April and I've gotten a lot of good advice and support here.

(And HI Bear!) This is a fun place to learn all the basics and neat ways to deal with diabetes. Please read way back in the posts and you will learn a ton of great stuff about food plans, medications, exercise options, how to work with your doctor and all kinds of stuff. We can't solve the world's problems but we sure can help you with diabetes!
Take care and visit us often with your questions. We have some really well educated people here who can get you thru the maze of figuring out how to work with your doctor to keep your health at optimum and fight the broken carbohydrate metabolism in your body.

Hi Martina:)

I was diagnosed in late October of last year. I credit this forum to teaching me how to eat to control my bg. My A1c went from 15.2 to 6.1 in three months. Much more help here than from all my doctors. Nice people too:) Welcome to out home on the web:)
