Hi Chuck, you have to be a sleuth and figure out exactly what could be causing certain symptoms. I don't know how the MS and the meds you take for it affect you and the blood sugar. I know that food with a lot of carbs can do two things: cause high blood sugar readings for sure and possibly cause a crash (lower blood sugar) a few hours later when you feel sleepy and lethargic. One thing I want to comment on:
"I don't do much exercising because of my PPMS and my age (60)." I'm sure the MS has its effects but don't use your age of 60!
I turned 60 in December and I walk a lot and do strength training, lift weights and use the resistant machines. So, don't use your
age as an excuse! Can you try exercising with dumb bells?
... I just looked up "cytoxin" and only found "cytoxan". Is this what you were taking? If it is, info on the Web says it can cause very high blood sugar.
