Aw gee, well, it's not like you do this every week, you know? Like tonight. We went out to dinner and I had French onion soup and I ate the crusty piece of baguette that was on top, draped with melted cheese and 2 more pieces of bread (small pieces) dipped in aioli. Then, chicken and spinach in wine sauce. I
never eat bread, ever, anymore, but tonight I figured 'what the hey'. So when we got home, I tested (even though I knew what to expect) and was at 110 on one meter, 118 on another one, and 144 on another one (the oldest meter I have). (I have 4 meters.) Gosh, that's some range, so if I figure an average, say 124 after that meal (I think that's about
6.7?) is not going to have too much effect overall since the rest of the time I control the blood sugar pretty tightly. So, don't beat yourself up.
