I don't agree that it's a strict diet. I eat very low carb and this is what I eat:
chicken, beef, pork, fish, squirrel, shrimp, scallops, sausage, bacon (most kinds: regular, turkey and Canadian)
green beans, cauliflower, summer squash (yellow and zucchini), broccoli, spinach, eggplant, mushrooms, green onions, bell peppers
salad greens including spinach, cilantro
cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, olives, artichoke hearts, avocados, celery
cheese, nuts
eggs, butter, Smart Balance Omega spread
Yes, you will lose weight because carbohydrates cause weight gain. If you want to control your blood sugar, you should be serious about what you eat!
