Don't be so hard on yourself, Joan. You've been doing really well with the diet and a couple of pancakes isn't going to break it. You were at a great BGL to "indulge" a bit and the oatmeal is definitely a better option than white flour ones would've been. Hey, oatmeal can even be good for cholesterol! The fat in the butter would help even out the rise in BGL, too.
Maybe don't go so long before having them again and you might be able to have just one, once in a while
Curious... what was your 2-hour PP BGL?
