I haven't had issues with this. My main issue is the loss of my hearing. I wear hearing aids, spent a lot of money on them (on a payment plan) because they're digital, but I still can't make out what's being said on TV, in movies or plays. Sometimes I get it and sometimes I don't. I'm better in real-life company but not in a crowded restaurant or gathering even though these hearing aids have adjustments for these situations. I guess at things a lot. And I have found that I tune out a lot. I don't even try to listen much of the time anymore because I've given up, so I don't enjoy TV or movies at all. It's too much work.
So, I understand when you say missing doing things. I wish I had answers but as always, I suppose, you do the best you can to adjust. It does suck. Things you used to do but can't now. All that. So, you can't give up on figuring out the best way to deal with this. You get a scooter, probably a way to carry it on your car, etc. The stores have them now so they realize many people need them to shop, too. And you continue keeping your blood sugar controlled the best way you can so you can hopefully avoid more complications.
I'm sorry the neuropathy is doing this to you. You're really active and exercise and that's so important for the circulation. That's
really important to pay attention to, any exercises that will help keep the circulation going even through the neuropathy.
Good luck with the scooter! Make it a
red one! Will, the stationary bike is a great idea. Good luck with that ultrasound!
