Hello again! Well, the 6.0 is an average of 126 which is elevated. 93 fasting is what doctors are looking for because it's under 100 although a non-diabetic's fasting is usually in the 80's.
Why does the doctor think you're becoming a type 1? Do you have a blood sugar meter? Seems to me that if the doctor is concerned about
your blood sugar that you would be testing yourself in the morning (fasting) and before and two hours after meals to see what's going on.
The C-peptide test will see how your pancreas is producing insulin. Here's a site which explains it all better than I can do:
