A news article released today shows that a Canadian team has discovered that Type I diabetes is probably caused by a nervous disorder (problem with nerve cells) and is begining clinical trials on humans to see if their results in mice are the same in humans. If this is the case, a treatment to prevent type I diabetes is at hand.

We can only pray that we'll see the benefits of this research in our lifetime.
If not, at least for our kids who are at risk of inheriting diabetes.
