I am pre-diabetic, have made major life changes in the last 3 weeks: gone on a high fibre (34 g of fibre a day), low salt, low fat, low sugar diet with low calories to lose weight (eating lots of veges and 2 fruits a day); exercising is up to 25 minutes per day with mega stair climbing at work on top of that; upped water intake to 8 glasses per day; my blood glucose readings are awesome now though the morning one is still up a bit from normal.
one problem: I have been struggling with constipation the whole time. Today is my 3rd day without a bowel movement and i am feeling it. if i drink more water i am going to have to put my name on the bathroom door LOL anyone struggled with this?? solutions or suggestions would be much appreciated.
