Hi Jeannie, Thank you for your help and patience. The above poster does not know I was advised as many who have higher than normal bs in the morning, but good bs all day, to perhaps have a snack as you mentioned, peanut butter, etc. However, My morning bs this morning was
118, not optimal but among my best, and as I mentioned no Meds. As for the day, I did well, yogart (light) Breakfast, some thin ham, and a zone bar for lunch, my pre meal was
78 at lunch but it went to
136, ( those zones bars maybe not be the best choice) but I was at my daughters, and it was easy.
So my dinner was salad, with ranch, bbq sauce, chicken poached and baked and some rib meat. My two hour after dinner at
9 PM was 108. I did not eat anything after that, nada, so when I went to check my bs at
12:45 AM and it was 126, I was frustrated, because I was sooooooooo pleased with my after dinner bs. I know the bbq sauce has sugar in it, but at 12:45 AM, that was over 5 hours after dinner. For some reason my body just kinda of wants to not work as well at night. So I am going to try and keep my bs at
126 or lower before bed and see what happens. I know I can achieve that, if I try. I also will confess, because of being sick, and having knee pain, I have not been faithful to do my treadmill. I am doing better with the knee, and my virus has gone, so need to get back in the habit of the treadmill. Having this board and all you nice people helps tremendously. You keep us honest, and you also incourage. And then sometimes maybe I will be able to help someone also. Again, Thank you, Donna
