Actually I have been keeping food down today. My blood sugars are good. Kris, I know what you mean about
the respiratory stuff being easier. I spike a little higher when I have something respiratory, but it isn't as scary as the lows I get with a stomach virus. It is really frightening when you know you need food in you because your blood sugar is low and you know there is a good chance it won't stay down. On top of bringing up the little bit of stuff I needed in me I also was having a very hard time staying awake. What really got me was even with the pump off my blood sugar was dropping. But today I am feeling better. I am eating. Blood sugars are normal. I'm tired as can be. I am just so grateful to have a wonderful daughter that never left me. Teenagers aren't all bad!
She had the glucagon injection ready to go too!
