ceebee,
You know I am the world's biggest proponent of greek yogurt- here's some other things I have done with it-
I recently used it in place of sour cream in my mother's favorite layered jello dish- it's the one where you make a layer of (sugarfree) jello, then mix some of the jello with sour cream to make the next layer - we use six flavors of jello- 12 layers- it's beautiful. I made it for the lunch after her funeral. Not one person knew the difference-how cool is that?
I made a great peanut butter pie- mixed the yogurt with cream cheese and peanut butter, vanilla, stevia, put it in an almond flour shell, and drizzled it with melted lindt chocolate
lemon/lime/orange parfait - I use one packet of true lemon/lime/ or orange to 6 oz of yogurt- add two drops of stevia- then layer that with muscarpone cheese filling- and top with whipped cream.
Top my chili with it-ditto for my tacos wraps.
Used it in my sauce for veggie golumbki.
here's the best one- I subbed almond flour for white, stevia powder for sugar, and the GY for sour cream in my sour cream drop cookies for Christmas- sooooo good and 2 net carbs per cookie. Drizzled them with Waldon farms chocolate dipping sauce- my kids gobbled them up.
I'm glad you can eat it with no BG rise- did you buy F A G E? OIKOS? What fat level?
