Hello All:

I bought a CVS brand meter and tested yesterday. Here are the results:

Fasting - CVS: 104, Accu-chek Aviva: 86

2 hours after dinner - CVS: 136, Accu-chek Aviva: 119

Same time, same blood drop. The results are more than 15% apart. I am perfectly normal with Aviva, but with CVS, the numbers are little high.

I guess I will go with Aviva, I have had it for a couple of years. And my fasting has been pretty consistent around 90 with lab results for 3 years.

Next time you have a lab blood draw done test your blood with both meters at the same time. When you get your lab results back see which meter was closer. That might give you more insight into which one is more accurate. Just my 2¢.
