Hello - I am wondering what the normal A1c level is.
I have heard 5.7%, 6%, or even 6.5%. Does that depend on the lab?
thanks!

I was told that anything between 4.4 and 6.6 was normal... So I've always aimed for 5.5.

I also think normal for a diabetic is slightly higher than normal for non diabetic. In general, for diabetics, they want it less than 7%, some would say under 6.5%
Man I use too many commas - but I am too lazy to go back and take them out. By the time I typed this I could have taken them out...but did I.....no!
