As Lanie said, there are no sites that are
comprehensive -- you kind of have to average out the information presented and work out for yourself what applies or doesn't apply to your own situation, at least, that's what I've found. Googling 'diabetes' will give you lots of results but you will find mostly generic and repeated information. Here's a few that I frequent:
Canadian Diabetes Association:
http://www.diabetes.ca/American Diabetes Association:
http://www.diabetes.org/
Mayo Clinic: http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/diabetes/DS01121
These sites, as I say, provide pretty generic info and even border on commercialism (the C.D.A. seems to like to push One-Touch meters and Becel margerine ;-) but they're a start.
The forum you're in right now is a great source of personal experiences with the disease, daily life, medications, etc. Do as Lanie says and post some specific questions. I'll bet someone can help
P.S Sorry but you'll have to copy/paste the links ... my browser doesn't like me tonight.
