Welcome, sundowner. Your numbers don't look bad to me. Losing weight helps a lot with controlling blood sugar, so you're doing a good job! Congratulations! The fact that you have seen blood sugar up to 147 and a fasting at 123 probably means you have some trouble metabolizing carbohydrates but are able to control your blood sugar otherwise. If you keep to a modified diet, keep the weight down and have some regular, sustained exercise, you may be able to keep your blood sugar within "normal" limits. Many people seem to be deficient in vitamin D nowadays for various reasons. I don't know the extent of your deficiency and I hope that you are under a doctor's care. Taking vitamn D pills and getting out in the sun helps a lot.
