Hi mip, nice to see you again! That's a great question. I have a really old one and three newer ones. I just held onto the ones I don't use. I don't know of any specific place to tell you that recycles or reuses them, but here are some suggestions: 1. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if they know of any organizations that can use them; 2. Contact the manufacturer and ask them if they take them back. (They may have such a program for charities or teaching hospitals.); 3. Contact your local charities or organizations that provide assistance to people in need; 4. Contact your local Diabetes Association and ask them.
And I would delete all the readings in the meter's memory so whoever gets it can start fresh.
Good luck. Hope you're doing well!
