when i poked my right finger after meal, i got 8.8 and when i tested my left finger i got 7.8
i am connfusd which reading is right.

It's common to get different readings. Monitors are not 100% accurate. I would figure an average between the two.

What is the 8.8 and 7.8 I know the numbers like 100 and do forth

In the States we use mg, a different measuring system for blood sugar. The rest of the world uses mmol. Many meters can be reset for the other system. There's a conversion chart in one of the stickies above.
