Well, goodness! Moving to another state, job change and renovations? Did you buy a house and are now fixing it up? Right before the holidays?
Right there's your answer!
Seriously though. Anyone would find all that rough sailing at times, so just take one day at a time.
Eat sensibly and allow yourself a treat. On Thanksgiving, I choose to eat my acorn squash prepared with brown sugar but not the mashed potatoes and gravy because I really (I mean, really) like the squash better. I may or may not eat a roll - depends on how I feel during the meal. I might justify another spoon of the squash if I don't eat a roll.
I make pumpkin pie the usual way except I substitute half the sugar with one part stevia and one part Splenda and I make it without a crust. I compromise all over the place to cut down on the carbs without sacrificing too much of the taste.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
