Cory Conacher traded to Ottawa Sens

Don`t know how many of you watch NHL hockey, but it is trade day here, my team just traded for 23 year old Cory Conacher a Type 1 Diabetic since age 8 also, he will be a good influence on kids around here also shouldn't hurt the team, let`s hope he is as big of an influence on kids with diabetes as Bobby Clark was to me

That's our Team also. I didn't know that Cory has Type 1. I'll keep an eye on him. That's a tough game for a person with Diabetes between the stress, travelling, food on the go and all the action.

I well remember my Mom mentioning Bobby Clark and his career often when I was a Kid. He'll be a Big influence alright. All the Sens spend time at and raise lots of money for the Children's Hospital(CHEO) and Roger's House for Kids, as you know. They love the Sens. :)

Cory looking good for a small guy, scored a goal last night still second in rookie scoring 2 points out, rookie of the year is a possibility

I was sure relieved that they cancelled the game in Boston that day and rescheduled it.

Thats so true. I couldn't imagine the Bruins and Sens playing after those horrific bombings. Sad for the losses and injured people. I hope that they catch the bombers.

Yay!! The Sens and Habs are happy to be playing together first. We're supposed to wear our Sens wear starting today. Got my
Sens t-shirt on. Sens in 6. Hope they go far.

Okay, you're on. Unbelieveable Game 3. Nice to see Cory back too.

We sat down to watch the hockey game and ended up watching a boxing match though.

Sadly, I guess you are correct about Montreal. Players get hurt. That's hockey. They got their revenge in game 2. Stop it there. If they spent more time trying to score a goal in our net than trying to injure the Sens, they might get a hat trick like Pageau did and win the game.

He's young, so he'll have chances for many awards, as he becomes more experienced with his developing skills.
