reactive hypoglycemia

Anybody out there that has been diagnosed with reactive hypoglycemia?  My sister is disabled with this and diet isn't helping much.  I am trying to find help for her via forums as well as traditional routes.  In the area where she lives, doctors all tell her the same thing....diet is the answer.  In the meantime, her condition is slowly deterioating.

Hi Jennye, welcome to HealingWell. I do not have this so I am putting a link to the Mayo Clinic for reactive hypoglycemia. It does seem to depend on food - but in addition to this the timing and frequency of eating is also important. I know that for people suffering from hypoglycemia in general, eating smaller meals, fewer carbs and more frequently help keep the blood sugar more level so it doesn't spike and then dip.
