Tums or Malox

Has anyone used Tums or Malox? I know that probably both of them use some form of sugar.
I saw a 'sugar free' Pepto Bismol, but notice that it contains aspartame (and I believe the same with tums), but I am too fond of aspartame.
But then again I wonder how much sugar and/or aspartame is in each of them.

I haven't used them. If you only use them once in awhile, I don't think it should affect you too much. If you are taking them everyday, that's another story.

Thanks Lanie. Yes, that's what I thought. It's getting so difficult reading all the labels/ingredients on so many items. And I don't know if it is just me, but the writing on the back of some of these items are so small and almost impossible to read.

tongue No, it's not just you! I think the print is getting smaller! Of course, it might be our eyesight, too!

Some people keep a magnifying glass with them in order to read these bottles; or, there are the eyeglasses you can buy that have magnification in different strengths that a lot of people buy for just reading. I understand you can even find them in those 'dollar' stores, so you don't have to spend a lot money.

Thank you Lanie. I'll look for those glasses in 99 cent store tomorrow and have my eye doctor check my eye sight for new eye glasses on next visit and will have to spend more for new glasses. Prices on everything (especially medical) keep getting higher and higher but my income doesn't keep going higher.

Many people who only need reading glasses just buy those magnifier glasses that are sold at pharmacies or now at the dollar stores. The glasses are only for reading small print. Of course we all need a comprehensive eye exam on a regular basis, however, when they check for glaucoma other eye problems.

Used both of them we cannot buy Maalox here anymore since supposedly they don't manufacturer them anymore but do use Tums quiet often confused
