Hi Everyone,
I stumbled across this website while looking on another website and have found it to be very interesting. It's not selling anything, so I think I'm okay posting the link.
Basically, it tells the story of some people who have diabetes. It's aimed at people in the medical profession mainly (although it's also aimed at diabetics themselves and their families) to help them understand what's it's like to be diabetic from a personal view rather than just another patient.
You can either listen to the people telling their individual stories or read their stories typed out. I found it an inspiration to read the story of a woman in her 70's who was one of the first people in the UK to have insulin having been diagnosed in 1927, and she's still going strong!
