Diabeticine and type 1 diabetes

I went on the diabeticine web site a while ago.  They were making claims that a type 1 can take these pills and not take insulin anymore.  I really hope nobody listened to this advice.  Because if a type 1 stops taking insulin, the end result would be death.

The website was techmedica.com. If you go into this website you will see it is gone. They were selling these pills as a cure. It gave a phone number to order the pills. I called and pretended I wanted to buy them. I purposely asked what this miracle drug could do for a type 1. The woman told me that if I took these pills, I couild stop using insulin. I called a few times just to make sure what they were telling me. The last time I called I asked the customer service rep how she can live with herself spreading garbage like this. A friend called the FDA. I am assuming that's why the site isn't there anymore. So if a type 1 stopped using insulin, it would be very serious. It would start as DKA (diabetic keto acidosis), coma then death. Before death occurs it is a living hell to experience this.

I'm glad the site was taken off too. The scams today not only can make you broke, but they play with pwople's lives. Maybe a newly diagnosed type 1 would have fellen for this. I hope nobody did.
