Hi there,
The presenting symptoms of diabetes used to be the "classical triad",but is not seen as fequently as before.Nowadays people have complaints like undue fatigue, excessive weight loss etc.
Were you going in for routine blood tests or did anything specific prompted you to go in for these tests?
The coventional wisdom is people spend a considerable amount of time in the "pre-diabetes" stage(sometimes even upto 9 years) before they become frank diabetics.
There are various causes of tingling and numbness in the feet and diabetes is only one of them.
My 2 cents worth of advise is not to jump the gun,but to calmly wait for the results to come in!Hope you'll keep us posted.
