In a word? Yes. I just read a study on stress and diabetes. Unfortunately, it's one of our worst enemies. The solution seems to be EXERCISE. Therapy is helpful ... but can take a long time. Anti-anxiety drugs wreck their own havoc with diabetics. Unfortunately (again) exercise seems to be IT. I tend to be anxious as well and know that people have recommended exercise to me for YEARS before I became a diabetic.
I guess if there's a magic bullet out there, exercise would be IT!
Good luck rearranging your life style ... I find it soooooooo very challenging but necessary as well.
