HI, I am not in anyway able to give medical advice, however, from my personal experience I would definately have them give you a proper test for diabetes. When I look back, I too had those same symptoms you have years ago when I was a young girl (I am 57 now), and asked doctor, and they said my blood tests were all within in the normal range. However, they never did a proper test for diabetes. If a doctor were to check my numbers now, I may come across as normal also, as I have been controlling with diet and exercise, and my numbers have been like in the 90's and 80's pre meal, and have even had some low after meal numbers, like 119. I think these all fall into the normal catagory. However, when given the test, the fasting, then the glucose, I show up diabetic. So, perhaps I was pre diabetic, or was a diabetic at the time? Who knows. I do know that sometimes you have to be major proactive with your doctors. My sis in law had all the classic symptoms of diabetes and she was very meek with her doctors. So when she was being very ill, frequent urination, loosing weight, etc. I told her to insisit her doctor test her. Well she went to doctor, he said you have the flu, but this time she insisted he test her. She had not been home for 15 min when the phone rang and she was told to come back and check herself into emergency. Her blood sugars were so high they were amazed she did not go into coma. Of course they were falling over all over themselves with apologies etc. She was in hospital for several days with iv drips trying to get her numbers down. Having said all that, your symptoms could be caused by other things. I would definately have doctor check you out throughly, and again be proactive. I have learned the hard way, I do not care if they think I am crazy, I know my body, and if something is not working right. I was ignored when I was having symptoms of colon cancer also, you know just probably hemroids (without doing a digital exam) I finally insisted on a colonscopy and yes I did have cancer! Let me tell you I am so proactive now! I do not care if they think I am crazy. It may be as simple as adjusting some of your meds. Who knows? I do not want to tell you these things to alarm you, but just to encourage you to have this checked out. Oh by the way your name AngMichelle, is that for Angela Michelle? That is my daughters name LOL Take Care Donna
