I believe that most people who are on Byetta are also on metformin. Byetta works in conjunction with that. There are also many people who take it in addition to some types of insulin. This is one of those things that you really need to run by your doctor. You can also go to the official Byetta sight and get a lot of information there and there are quite a few Byetta forums out there. I always find those forums helpful in finding out info that the drug sights don't give you and many doctors don't know. Check some of those out. Are you considering taking it? What meds are you on?
