I think I'm sick

Hey everyone,

I hardly ever get sick but right now something really nasty is going around school and I caught it   have not taken anything for it yet. So far I have a temp. 99.7 last time I checked, a cough,and a sore throat. I am not sure what is ok to take and not to take with the medicians that I am on. So am currently taking Keppra, Topamax, and Lamictal. Do you guys know if any over the counter meds could have some kind of effect on them?

Ipso is right... although I have my own opinions on what mixes with what, we cannot offer pharmaceutical(sp) advice here and the best place to go is your local pharmacist.

I hope this gets to you feeling much better by now, but I would suggest keeping a list somewhere around the house/computer/car/purse of what conflicts with your medication. I keep a list of things that I have had "reactions" to in my wallet/computer/car/home at all times (very small list, but still important). Talk to the doctor and the pharmacist to make sure you know what is going on with your meds.

Definitely while you are at school this can be a helpful thing, I have been in the same situation you are describing, but I was definitely too sick to do anything about it, and I was able to give the list to a friend and he was able to pick up what I needed.
